1. Editions & Scope of License
PasteMesh is offered in three editions sharing the same cryptographic core and cross-platform binaries:
- Community Edition (Free, Unlimited-Time Evaluation): Provided free of charge with no time expiration so you can thoroughly test compatibility, network topology, and daily workflows prior to purchasing. Community Edition enforces built-in capacity boundaries: 1 mesh network, up to 2 peers per mesh, 32 MB maximum payload transfer per clip, 100 vault history entries, and up to 10 pinned entries (additional evaluation constraints may apply in future releases).
- Pro Sovereign Edition (One-Time Perpetual License): A single one-off payment granting perpetual (“lifetime”) ownership with no time restrictions and no recurring fees. Unlocks all software capacity restrictions (unlimited meshes, unlimited peers per mesh, unlimited payload size, unlimited vault history, and unlimited pins).
- Enterprise Fleet Edition (Monthly Per-Seat Subscription): Provides identical unrestricted technical capabilities on par with Pro Sovereign, licensed on a flexible monthly per-seat subscription basis for teams and organizations, including continuous updates and priority support while the subscription remains active.
2. Try-Before-You-Buy & Final Sale Policy (No Refunds)
Because the Community Edition is permanently free with zero time limits and runs the exact same native binaries and P2P cryptographic engine as our commercial tiers, you have unlimited time to verify hardware, OS, firewall, and workflow compatibility before spending a cent.
Consequently, once a Pro Sovereign or Enterprise Fleet license key is issued, all commercial purchases are final and non-refundable, except where explicitly mandated by non-waivable statutory consumer law. For Enterprise Fleet subscriptions, you may cancel future monthly renewals at any time prior to the next billing cycle.
3. Acceptable Use & License Key Integrity
Commercial license keys are cryptographically signed for the licensed user or seat count purchased. You may not publicly redistribute, resell, or publish commercial license keys, nor circumvent license signature verification in binary distributions.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. BECAUSE PASTEMESH OPERATES EXCLUSIVELY ON YOUR LOCAL DEVICES WITHOUT CLOUD BACKUP, YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR BACKING UP YOUR VAULT KEYS (vault*.key) AND IMPORTANT DATA. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EXCEEDING THE AMOUNT PAID FOR YOUR LICENSE IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE (12) MONTHS.
