Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Unlimited-Time Free Evaluation Before Purchase
Unlike traditional software that restricts users to rushed 7-day or 14-day trials, PasteMesh Community Edition is free forever with zero time limits.
The Community Edition runs the exact same peer-to-peer networking engine, ChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption, system tray applet, CLI, Web Dashboard, and mobile companions as our commercial editions—subject only to transparent capacity quotas (1 mesh network, up to 2 peers per mesh, 32 MB per clip, 100 vault history items, and 10 pinned clips). We strongly encourage every user and organization to install and evaluate the Community Edition across their own devices, operating systems, and network environments before purchasing a commercial license.
2. Why All Commercial License Purchases Are Final (No Refunds)
PasteMesh is architected for 100% offline, zero-cloud sovereignty. There is no central PasteMesh activation server that your devices “phone home” to when unlocking commercial capacity limits. Instead, commercial licenses are delivered as cryptographically signed offline license keys that cannot be remotely revoked or deactivated once issued.
Because you can evaluate PasteMesh for an unlimited time at zero cost using the Community Edition—and because issued cryptographic license keys cannot be clawed back—all purchases of Personal Realm (€3/month or €29/year), Pro Sovereign (€299 one-time perpetual license), and Enterprise Fleet (€4/seat/month) are final and non-refundable once the license key is issued, except where explicitly mandated by non-waivable statutory consumer law.
3. Subscription Cancellations (Personal Realm & Enterprise Fleet)
- Cancel Anytime Before Next Renewal: If you subscribe to Personal Realm (monthly or annual) or Enterprise Fleet (monthly per-seat), you may cancel automatic renewal at any time prior to your next scheduled billing date.
- Self-Service Cancellation: Click the Manage Subscription link included in your order confirmation or renewal receipt from our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, or contact us at support@pastemesh.net.
- Continued Access Through Current Period: Cancelling a subscription stops all future recurring charges while keeping your subscription license valid through the end of the current paid billing cycle. Partial-month or partial-year pro-rata refunds are not issued for unused time remaining in an active billing cycle.
4. Accidental Duplicate Charges & Billing Support
If you experience a technical checkout error such as an unintentional duplicate transaction for the same license, please contact us within 14 days at support@pastemesh.net with your Lemon Squeezy order number and we will promptly verify and refund the duplicate charge.
